House Journey Day 1

So, after having spoken to a bank etc.

We now have a 5 year plan to save $60,000 for a down payment on a house. I hope we can do it. I still am concerned that even with that much of a down payment, that our bad credit past will haunt us. I hope not.

I would really appreciate any comments about how others have done it in a similar situation.

I don't know what will happen here, but a dream has to start somewhere.

My wife & I, like most people nowadays, have been struggling financially for quite a few years, including a bankruptcy.

I had an idea to start this blog using adsense to help get some extra revenue. We now can see the light at the end of the tunnel. So please click the ads, I also have some other ideas for saving. Please let me know your story, how did you get through it? Buying that first house, etc.
